Yoga is not about unnatural contortions. It can be slow-paced stretching with mindfulness to what is happening in the body. Yoga is about alleviating stress and improving your concentration, strength, balance, and flexibility through the asanas (postures). Students discover muscles that they have not been conscious of getting stronger, and others that were tight and limiting becoming more limber and flexible.

Yoga will wake up your body, sharpen your mind, and clarify your spirit. Each class includes:

  • Gentle stretching
  • Asanas (standing, sitting, and inversion postures
  • Meditations
  • Yoga philosophy

Yoga is a great workout for any age and fitness level.

Circles create a supportive atmosphere in which to read, discuss and dialogue about ways to achieve growth and clarity in body-mind-spirit.

Laughter For the Health of It with Ted Quirke
While the average child laughs 400 times a day, adults laugh fewer than 15! What fun it would be to recapture the experience. We know that the benefits of laughter include:
  • Moderate cardio-vascular workout
  • Reduced pain
  • Stress relief
  • Boosted self-confidence
  • Strengthened immune system
  • Relaxed muscles
Ted is a Certified Laughter Leader through World Laughter Tour. No jokes. No ridicule. In his class we don't laugh at anyone except ourselves.
Prerequisite: Come with an open mind to have a good time!
